This album is my introduction to Greg Segal and I have another cd that says he has been making music since 1985. Well he is talented enough to be making music for twenty years then .
The album is a instrumental work but it is really cool if you like the acoustic side of say Zeppelin or Heart or even Fleetwood Mac , and the Mama ' s and Papa ' s folk rock thrown in for the mix . This album reminded me why I like the songs like the Battle of Evermore or Sylvan Song / Dream of the A rcher , California Dreaming , Never Going Back A gain . They were all good folk rock type songs . A nd this album has the same flavor as those songs . It even captures the same spirit as those songs did back then at least it does for this reviewer who is enjoying the cool tunes that are blessing my ears right now . In some places it does get repetative ,which is not always a bad thing . I am gonna recommend this album if you are into aforementioned bands acoustic side .
