Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman are proud to announce that after a hiatus of 25 years, they are to reform the definitive YES line-up as Anderson, Rabin and Wakeman (ARW).

Since they last played together in 1990 on the highly successful YES ‘Union Tour’, there have been various hybrid versions of the band. However, none featured the iconic voice of Jon Anderson, the outstanding guitar talent of Trevor Rabin, and the keyboard wizardry of Rick Wakeman. The aim of the band will be to restore the standard of excellence in performance that they established with their 1990 shows – which saw YES members past and present come together for the first (and only) time of the legendary band’s career.

Peter Baumann (D) / Peter Baumann - Machines of Desire (2016)
« on: February 21, 2016, 10:15:32 AM »
33 years after his latest album, Peter Baumann will release a brand new album called Machines of Desire. The release is scheduled for May 2016.

The album will feature 8 new tracks.

Here is a quote from Peter Baumann concerning this forthcoming release:

Machines of Desire is filled with many influences, not least of them, my time with Tangerine Dream. Recording this album has been a very rich experience that fulfilled my creative desires, with more to come. I'm delighted that German record label Bureau B will release the recording in May/June of this year.

The title, Machines of Desire, reflects my belief that as human beings we're driven relentlessly by our deepest desires: the desire to experience life and love, to be heard and seen, to connect with others, to be safe, to find meaning and purpose... and countless more. We find ourselves in the drama of everyday life with uncertainty at every step, with fear of loss and existential loneliness, and only occasionally interrupted by the fundamental joy of being alive."

I´m looking forward to this release.
