The whole thing was done by composing and rehearsing for about 10 months and then recorded from NOV 1976 to FEB 1977 at Conny's Studio with the deserving help of a fully dBx'ed MCI 24-track tape-recorder at 30 ips (76 cm/S) on four AGFA “PEM 468 professional”-type 2” tapes. Therefore however, it deserves to be played LOUD...

Next on my playlist, Rattle that Lock by David Gilmour.

A brilliant solo album with some real nice guitar parts on it.

The next thing on my playlist was The Geese and the Ghost by Anthony Phillips.

One of my classic prog albums.

Over the last hour, I have been listening to the 2015 re-issue of Roger Waters "Amused to Death". the dts version.

This is the only RW solo album worth listening to as far as I´m concerned.

And now in conclusion of my journey through Steve´s early years, now listening to Defector, which brings back good memories of the early 80´s, when I watched Steve performing live in Utrecht during the Defector tour.

Listening to Steve Hackett - Premonitions - The Charisma Recordings 1975-1983 - Voyage of the Acolyte, the Dolby 5.1 version.

It sounds magical. Waiting for the extended version of Shadow of the Hierophant. Curious if the extension is worth waiting for.
