Babylon was a Symphonic Progband from Florida USA, which was active somewhere in the mid of the seventies. The band was formed by:

Rick Leonard on bass, bass pedals & vocals
Doroccus on keyboards & lead vocals
Rodney Best on drums & percussion
J. David Boyko on guitars
G.W. Chambers on keyboards & vocals

They recorded only one self-titled album in 1978. The album contained four tracks:

1. The Mote In God's Eye (7:00)
2. Before The Fall (10:54)
3. Dreamfish (9:12)
4. Cathedral Of The Mary Ruin (7:38)

They music they made is hard rockish with influences of early Genesis. The album was released on CD in 1999 by Syn-phonic. Somewhere early 2000, Syn-phonic also released two livealbums, but unfortunately the soundquality of the original recordings was poor.

The original vinyl release belongs to my personal collection.

Music was my first love and still an important part of my life.
